Jon Jacob

Jon Jacob is a seasoned professional with a unique blend of engineering, sales, and culinary expertise. He earned his Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Management, with a focus on Manufacturing, from Miami University in 1996. His early career included successful roles in sales at Diebold and CCI, where he developed strong skills in client relations and strategic business development.

Driven by a deep passion for the culinary arts, Jon pursued an associate’s degree in Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management from Pennsylvania Culinary Institute, graduating as Valedictorian in 2000. He gained valuable hands-on experience at Boulders Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he further refined his craft in a high-end hospitality environment. Since 2021, Jon has brought his leadership, industry knowledge, and love for fine dining to his family’s restaurant, Bender’s Tavern. Known for his appreciation of wine and exceptional dining experiences, Jon continues to elevate the restaurant’s legacy while sharing his enthusiasm for hospitality and quality cuisine.
